Cutting Image Salon started in the East Village of New York City back in September of 2004 by Lisa Mayo Wilfong. The concept of providing an upscale, high quality experience without the attitude or high price tag seemed to also be a necessity in the Charlotte, NC metro area. In 2007, Lisa and her husband, Stephen, joined forces with a few capital investors in Charlotte to introduce that concept to the Carolinas, bringing about our slogan of "NYC Style at NC Prices." Cutting Image Salon now has a location in Charlotte, Gastonia, Huntersville, and the original NYC location. The salons continue to work together on everything from fashion shoots to weddings constantly learning and perfecting their skills.
